Yep Bazza is going to drop the tariff from 60c down to 40c for existing customers.
Wrong wrong wrong imo.
I don't have solar and I do vote Coalition, but this is very wrong and shouldn't be allowed. I can understand him closing the scheme to new applicants, as those who couldn't afford to get solar were penalized unfairly by Labor to subsidize those that could, but those already connected and eligible for the 60c tariff should be left alone. They signed up for 60c and that's what they should be getting.
I realise he has to try and kill off the Labor debt that he inherited, but he should be looking elsewhere, and not renege on the people that signed up for the scheme in good faith.
