Shanghai zinc did not follow LME down - as per my Post: 3119015 on the OXR Thread. Still a correction was always on the cards due to the huge heave ho up!
IMO that may just flag emerging upside volatility => many think zinc is close to bottom / oversold atm, causing high cost mines to close => less zinc available [stockpiles are not that big either] => bears in zinc may need to scamper for cover [stop losses activated => big rallies].
