i feared copper would get smashed it was the only metal that held up (relatively well) and it has been well and truely battered down nearly 40% from its yearly high.Interesting times with base metals at these prices we need AUD down to 0.70 to ounter balance net effect. US recession is also going to effect base metal prices further so things not looking rosey, i dont think China factor is enough to keep bouyant resource prices we are all intertwind if US demand stops then china export growth gets reduced etc etc nothing can occur in silo. George Bush has to have run the worst term in government in history ohh well what can one do
