Any sale of CNE's holdings could muddy the waters considerably. Has CNE given FAR or the government a heads up thus removing any form of PE issues if it has sold all or part of its Senegal holdings? If a deal has been done or is about to be done then disclosure to share holders would normally follow closely.
While I respect the posters who have reported the rumour on HC a bit of hard proof is needed before we can crystal ball the likely outcome and effect to FAR's involvement and effect to its SP.
