Dear IMA lovers,
A few questions I have as a newbie holder. IMA scored high on the QAV podcast screen and I purchased. However I have some questions that have arisen more recently, and I apologise if they have been answered elsewhere, but I cannot locate them.
1. Shipping - who pays for shipping for an IMA mineral sands delivery - the purchaser or the miner? Are shipping costs absorbed by purchaser or by the company? If by IMA, is the company at risk of significantly raised shipping costs eating into margins? Is any such increase, even at its highest, material to the company in terms of the potential for profit erosion? Is mineral sands demand relatively elastic or inelastic to shipping price?
2. Is any of IMA"s product sold domestically, meaning demand will be unaffected by price rises in shipping?
3. What commodity price do i follow for IMA - ZIrcon has been mentioned on HC, but I note that other mineral sands companys such as ZImplats also follow the Palladium price chart. Is this relevant to IMA?
