I understand your point but a lot of people just cant work past about 60 yo because their jobs are just too physically demanding.
Like a lot of building trades such as concreters, roofers, steel workers, workers on tall buildings etc. Then you have a lot of farm based workers who cant work past about 60 if that like shearers and shearing teams, pickers etc. Then you have drivers.

My favourite is the military, it is most difficult to work past about 45 in the military, most people are forced out by that age.

What do people do when they have worked in one trade for 30 or 40 years, it is near impossible to get anyone to employ them in another unrelated field.

I could go on but you get my point. There is going to be a lot of unemployment in people over 55. Try to get a job in Qld if you are over 55, discrimination rules the day.

There needs to be a rethink on the whole pension, super thing and by that I mean a positive out come for the people and not cutting the pension. If there is 50,000,000,000 in tax payers money to give banks and big business a tax cut then that money should be used for the people not big business.

I see the PM's old bank G.S. has come out in defence of his tax cuts for banks and is way different from our own treasury figures.
    What a shock.
