Until now I didn't actually realise that SHV was the best performing stock of the ASX 300.
That in itself bodes well for 2014... there was one study on stock market strategies which found the top performing stock of the ASX 300 in a given year had a 66% chance of beating the market in the following year. Certainly, you would have to assume that this one is now going to attract a lot of interest, including from institutional investors.
