I wouldn't say stupid, just human nature to worry about the outcome of such a big transaction. Not many participants in any market over the years have avoided getting rolled by it at some time and having to stare down the barrel of at best a major adjustment to price expectations at worst a serious loss is likely, even in property, eventually IMO.
