emergency wards in hospitals have been closed in queensland days after the govt said they might not.
a couple of hours after caboolture closed there was a car accident 200 metres from the front door of the hospital, in which two had to be airlifted to hospitals in different areas. the driver was killed, the critically injured back passenger had to wait by the side of the road i believe, waiting for the chopper whilst it ferried the front passenger, also critical to another hospital.
now the pollies are racing around trying toi cover their arses.
