I reno'd a cottage a few years back. Nobody in the family takes baths, but Mrs J. was adamant that it would have no resale value sans bath. But the bathroom was small, and eliminating the bath meant it could be a spacious, airy room. When we came to sell, no hindrance. People loved it.
