Why do people do it? If I want to buy (or sell) say 100k shares, do i:
1. Buy it small dribs and drabs so that I try not to disturb the share price?
2. Plonk a big bid on and hope for the best?
ppl like you will complain manipulation either way. Also, blame your broker if you can't buy in dribs and drabs, not the asx/asic.
