I'm pretty sure there is actually no debt in BT Mining... it was certainly brought debt free in 2016 from the government who I believe are also taking responsibility for any environmental issues that could arise relating to BT Mining so given these factors it would be surprising to suddenly find a large amount or really any amount of debt "hidden away" in BT Mining as you imply... I haven't looked at the annual report last year recently but it might confirm this (no BT Mining borrowings) given Bathurst own so much of it
