But even cell phones can use NiMH with minimal weight gain. Most Li-ion batteries in cell phones are not replaceable (hard-wired), but all(?) NiMH are replaceable. iPhone = Li-ion. Samsung = NiMH (mostly).
Just as the technically illiterate politicians have facilitated the renewables catastrophe, so they are now mandating electric cars by 2040/50 and ignoring reality (or hoping like hell for the magic bullet?).
