Maybe , maybe not . Depends on how you charge them .
In this case , the fast charging network is to enable people to travel further . It doesn't mean that everyone will be fast charging their battery every time .
Clearly , car batteries in the future will be better designed for fast charging . There is already plenty going on in this area .
The point is that governments have identified the need for this type of infrastructure and getting on with building it .
