''Imagine what the Aliens think when they study us''

it's not difficult to imagine

we are capable of some level of intelligent thought

so, all we have to do is to imagine a species with the same characteristics as us and grasp the history and prehistorical behaviours of that species and see where it is after such a length of time

measure it's 'progress' in nature, characteristics and behaviours - have they changed

now - imagine we are the aliens visiting another place - and we know all about this species on planet Z? --

would we want to meet them? would we want to meet them if we didn't need anything from planet Z?

what would be the point of meeting them?


when we see pictures of what some of us believe are alien spacecraft ------- invariably - they speed off into the distance

is that a surprise?
