My concern here is a deal with a comparatively small upfront payment which gives away too much access to IP and/or control.
A deal may, at first glance, look quite lucrative only to have the detail come back to bite you hard later on when you realise what has actually been given away. I don't believe our board has the ability to negotiate effectively.
Being overly keen to get runs on the board could be a cause for regret at a later stage.
