So has Musk inadvertently helped SYR?? The battery day presentation shows Tesla wants to move to silicon over the next 2-3 years.. that will be heard by bankers around the world, who will be game enough to finance a new natural graphite project? Tesla still needs to solve the problems with silicon anodes and financiers will have to weigh up whether that will take 2-3years or a lot longer and how that risks their investment. In the meantime SYR has the supply box seat and hopefully silicon takes a lot longer to develop!
