I'm wondering if NMT, FGR or Ecograf etc, are in the running for actually building this battery (so rather than getting Tesla to, as South Australia did) in Kwinana. Its surely something McGowans lil Rockingham heart would be warmed by, and seems like it could be a smart strategic move (not only do you get the battery, you get a skills uplift, jumpstart an industry and a few companies while you're at it). Maybe partnered with an experienced battery maker?
