The best thing about battery day for Lake was Elon taking about their Lithium clay plans.

Their process sounds similar to Lake. I wonder if they are going to use Lilac to separate the Lithium from the salt? And putting the clay back is the same idea as Lake returning the water to the acquifer.

At the end of the day, Tesla will buy the cheapest best quality ethical Lithium they can find. And I can’t see how their process will be cheaper than Lilac’s process with Lake’s brine.
We don’t need to mix salt with the clay and water. We already have salt water with Lithium it, all we need is a pump.
