Hi Gccc12..hope u enjoyed your weekend..
AUZ had to consolidate in order to abstract more working capital form their CRs..
Many holders here on HC gave there opinions on y auz consolidated at the time and clearly those opinions were in line with their own reasons why they invested in auz in the first place and in line with some pretty basic human needs to always be right..
But sadly reality dosnt care too much for that approach and AUZ BOD in my opinion knew exactly what they needed to do and did it..
If one were to attempt to always look on the bright side of life one might say at least auz are still trading..
For myself I will only hold a stock after consolidation if the fundamentals are extremely strong and there are no whatsoever trust issues with management as most would agree consolidate in most cases don't fair to well for holders and for obvious reasons..
How many years have auz been saying auz finance dicussions are advancing..how many holders have taken that on board and held tight..how many have brought in or brought more on those announcements..
As Vintage so so so long ago pointed out advancing finance dicussion can mean as little as a single phone call..it's vague and dosnt mean AUZ was ever any closer to closure regarding any deal..and now with hindsight it's clear Vintage was spot on..
in any event AUZ is offering up some pretty decent percentage gains for people including holders and non holders to take advantage off..
Disclaimer I myself was a holder for some two days last week and managed to snag some lunch money..
Sure it's risky but with tight stop losses the risk can be mitigated..
I'm certainly not one little bit sold on AUZ fundamentals being any reason to invest i just like the price channel I see forming and the percentage gains that might produce..
keep safe everyone next week could be a ripper as the USA looks to be somewhat able to address their debit ceiling problems yet again
dyor just my opinion and never advice
