Not sure re your figures, but you might be referring to this: Nature produces is about 750 GT (gigatons) CO2 per year, and absorbs the same amount. Humans produce about 40 GT per year, a puny 5% of the natural figure. But just like in the parliament, the 40 GT gets the balance of power, and profoundly alters the amount of energy the atmosphere retains from the Sun. That atmospheric CO2 is rising is a measurable fact, from a stable 180-280 ppm for the last 800,00 years to around 420 ppm now.
