We will have to disagree on this one.
Im not against renewables - but when they are viable, cost effective and can deliver reliable cheap power. By all means get rid coal and gas generated power but when we have something viable to replace it with - say a few nuclear reactors.
China is responsible for 30% of world C02 emissions the US only 14% - China claims it is a developing country (what a joke on a gullible West that agrees to that) so not going down the same net zero route of the West - but it's pinning it's ears back building coal and gas power stations left right and centre - the coal fired generation of China is 6 times as large as the rest of the world combined (CREA)and they are still constructing them.
if we are going to go down the net zero route so be it - but China and India 2 of the bigger emitters need to be on the journey at the same pace not sitting back paying lip service and reaping the economic benefits of little or minimal action.
