I am under the impression that AUZ first needs to finalise the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for SCONI, a document prepared to describe the effects of proposed activities on the environment. The granting of the mining permit is subject to the satisfactory completion of the EIS. Until EIS is completed the funders will hold back (& so will LGES).
Does anyone have an idea as to when the EIS be completed?
