I Agree 100% regarding the Australian market and our completely pathetic EV motorcycle uptake (I was looking at some numbers the other day and in NSW as of 30/06/2022 there was a grand total of 135 Vmoto Soco and 23 Zero bikes registered, source: https://roads-waterways.transport.nsw.gov.au/about/corporate-publications/statistics/registrationandlicensing/tables/table115_2022q2.html), but I guess what I was getting at is that EV bikes don’t have the same infrastructure hurdles that cars do, it doesn’t matter whether you are in Taipei, Sydney, Rome, Mumbai or Jakarta, battery swapping stations can easily be located where there are needed efficiently. As others have mentioned previously the major players in Japan have agreed to battery standardisation (https://www.rideapart.com/news/576896/honda-yamaha-kawasaki-suzuki-gachaco/ ) and I would expect to see standardisation eventually roll out across markets as opposed to more proprietary systems such as Tesla (who are now opening up their proprietary charging ports anyway - https://www.engadget.com/tesla-is-offering-its-proprietary-charge-connector-as-a-new-north-american-standard-193223322.html ). I think VMT is very well positioned to roll this out and won’t be caught on the hop. They are already plugging it on the EMax website which also hints at collaboration/standardisation https://www.vmotoemax.com/solutions/battery
