I think I had seen the graphic representation of the VRB in the link elsewhere and the pipes and pump gave me the impression that the tanks didn't need to be integrated with the reaction cell.
The smallest unit in the Imergy brochure has largish footprint but the fact it is position tolerant is in it's favour.
