People said that about RAMs and F250s when they came back into the market. Now they are all over the place.
Builders used to drive old utes many years ago. Now they spend $150k on an optioned up Landcruiser rather than pay tax.
lf tradies have to pay a bit more to charge all the tools and not have to worry about unreliable site power they'll do it. Also for campers and offroaders. People are already loading up their 4wds with everything from coffee makers to electric cookers . lf a 4wd has all that incorporated then it's much better.
l agree that an electric Hilux or Ranger sized ute is the go. Won't be too long and we'll all be driving one. There's a reason why SUVs are so popular now. An electric SUV will be one step better for most people.
