Agreed Cambdenbob. I think that in the overall context of the JV something like this had to be done, and at the risk of losing daytraders involvement in the company's shareholders (Lol) that it was a very positive initiative for CTP to make.
Who know's, under the JV there may in fact be a clause that refers to "the parties" to work in a proper commercial arrangement and failure to do so may be a breach, requiring either loss of equity ownership or other demand for damages incurred. IF this is the case, then CTP is a BIG winner in this regard, and if you read the legalese wording of the announcement I have no doubt that is what CTP are working on through this initiative.
I REALLY am excited about the opportunity for CTP (and our opportunity to buy at considerably lower prices!!!).
