My thoughts are that the Democrats always dominate in early voting, you can check that yourself if you doubt me. The only thing that is new this time around is the larger number of early votes in absolute numbers but the proportions are not that different from previous elections.
A trend that is visible in this early voting is that the proportion of young voters has declined. This has been attributed to how empty the college campuses are this year.
A normal practice of Democrats in previous elections was to send buses to college campuses to transport young people to vote. This time around they're having to do this through social media with predictable results, less young people voting.
Less young people voting means yet another problem for the Democrats.
By the close of voting on Nov 3rd it will be clear that Trump has won by a great margin. I'm tipping 321 electoral college votes.
