hi rex, the pipeline will have a maximum capacity of 10,000 barrels per day.
Which might I say will provide BPT (%40 of the production) approx 4k per day, with 320 average operation, giving 1.28 million boe, and there for at least (at $60 profit) around $77 million a year to BPT.
When companies build infrastructure they have to weigh up many factors rexsh, if they can in the future justify an upgrade to the capacity, I am sure they will do it, as BPT have proven they can get infrastructure built in fairly quick periods.
Pretty sure BPT would not be upset to have underestimated the Bauer field size. ;-P
What a shame the announcement came on a down day, where clearly many are taking money off the table before the weekend and Bernanke taking center stage, perhaps you could call it risk off?
