Medicinal Cannabis is of great benefit to kids with specific syndromes and to alleviate symptoms of many diseases. The uneasy fit between the Nimbin co and the aluminium producers is just that - an uneasy fit - where the latter is hoping to make a killing, while the former deserves it.
Decriminalizing cannabis is the only way to go - and will happen in the long run. Meanwhile a growing number of people will happily continue to grow their own medicine to treat illnesses and alleviate symptoms rather than buy pharma grade overpriced, underperforming product.

The govt so far has driven the medicinal cannabis industry further underground. However cannabis, will win in the end - for textiles, for building, for food and for medicine.
