The company is doing the right thing my minimising its expenditure at the moment. As soon as Chinese new Year is over next month the buyers will be back as they cant get anything from Malaysia, plus whoever does the first deal will have secured delivery from a reputable Australian company that will be able to deliver until it runs out of Bauxite. Look what happened in Indonesia from millions every month done to zero as they wanted to keep their reserves etc. Also the quality is better than Malaysian Bauxite .
