I don't think people appreciate just how big bauxite is in Weipa/North Qld. Rio were going to build a smelter in South Africa, but because of power difficulties there they now look like developing here (Weipa) potentially spending $1.06 billion.
The Chinese & Indians have the same power problems - turning bauxite into aluminium requires heaps of energy. Queensland has heaps of coal to keep smelters firing.

I also own BAU which has it's tenements in WA (WA mining also suffering from reduced energy due to recent gas explosion)- it's sp has dropped 11% today, probably as a result of Rio news. Bauxite mining in Nth Qld is the place to be. MKY is in the right spot. When deal is done & dusted watch it fly.
