I agree. What i was suggesting is we havent invented endosomal escape, it either happens or it doesn't. All we appear to have is a technology that can prove it occured and possinly also assist in scanning our library to find those that do escape endosome for any given cell. If someone else finds a peptide that does enter a cell and does escape endosome it will work as well as anything we have. I guess that has been my big question all along ie it would appear that unless endosome escape occurs the whole thing is pointless. That being the case and the fact peptidream have all these big pharma deals you would have to assume they also have some way to prove endosomal escape. If they dont, and it is just pure luck if peptide escapes or not, then theoretically we should have all their clients and be worth twice what they are?

Being able to prove endosomal escape was supposed to be the holy grail, and this is why i am still curious why we only have the one partner while peptidream has heaps?? Something still seems strange. Hopefully it is that no one believes us because we missed goals for so long, yet if genentech goes to the next stage that might be a sign to all we actually have something...assuming their work also relies on fpp and endosomal escape.
