I have pointed it out before but am not too sure people actually understood what was happening, at least theH way I think what happened.

Blijdorp resigned on the 21 Feb 2024. At the time he held 1,743,118 shares. For some reason he had to offload these shares. However, there was probably adverse taxation consequences for himself if he sold within 12 months (either in Australia or overseas). He consequently has waited until the 28 February 2025 to offload these shares. In order to reduce his exposure to price fluctions he has probably shorted his holding over the 12 months while maintaining the 1,743,118 shares. Come 28 February 2025 he has probably both closed out his shorts and sold his shareholding simultaneously, thus not having to worry about there been sufficient volume to match his sale. I suspect that it was in his financial interest for the share price to be near a 12 month low on the 28 Feb.

ps it is a long time since I worked in tax law but because everything happened just after 12 months since he resigned I suspect it has something to do with tax.

    Regards

    SP
