What's with the delay (I'm thinking a little like Plough). Sometimes IMO, it seems that the war is only being won by those local resistance forces clearing the houthi's from their tribal areas. The main National forces then just keep those areas won. I wrote many years ago that this war seems tribal in that a "smoke the war pipe conference" was needed to ensure tribal interests were enforced.

Still this war makes no sense with sides seeming doing the opposite of what could be achieved. The Houthi hang on but lose ground consistently. Hadi stepwise (a mix of 2 forward, one back and 2 back, one forward) seems to needs more reserves of strength. Time seems no barrier. Plodding is as good as going in hard. This is a war to be lost.
