Looking at those oil companies listed, I read Mr Shawki al-Mikhlafi, the deputy oil minister saying over the phone, “We hope this step by OMV will encourage other companies to resume production of oil,” So, let's see the article nominates OMV AG obviously, Total SA, DNO ASA and last but not least Calvalley Petroleum (Cyprus) Ltd., operator of Block 9. No PSA?

Let's go back to Deputy Oil Minister "We hope this step by OMV will encourage other companies to resume production of oil,” It like that phone message - "we hope you have a good day". Next to meaningless... what is it?

Also China's Sinopec pops up - Did they push OMV to get started? Maybe with the trade war with US, they might be keen to add to their oil supplies... I read yesterday that China had stopped buying US oil last month. Minor news though!
