Starting at the top, the article is in double speak. It is make-believe. This article explains the reason for pulling out of hodayduh and talks positively about its involvement in Yemen. It says nearly every advance by the coalition has been achieved by 5000 Emirati forces and yet it has "trained 90000 Yemeni soldier to fill the vacuum after their departure". How many of these Emirati ended up dead?

Were the Emirates training or fighting? Did these 90000 Yemeni troops take no part in battle. Because it ignores the clearing of all the southern and Eastern provinces. So how many of these Emirati ended up dead? Very few because they support tribal fighters who end up taking most of the punishment.

But then the article goes UN ..."what the United Nations has called the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.". Are the Saudi's to blame?

Then 'Mike Hindmarsh, a retired Australian major general who commands the Emirati presidential guard, recently told Western visitors that Yemen had become a quagmire where the Houthis were the “Yemeni Viet Cong.” But why then has the UAE been the high achiever? Would it make sense though, it is because they access the tribal regional fighters who have the know of their land and have the will.

All the successes have occured from the South (Aden) and the southern east provinces (Shabwah and Hydramawt). What traction has occurred up north where the legitimate Yemen troops roam? None and I pointed out why many times before this post.

Comments in the article like ..."fractious Yemeni forces is passing to Saudi Arabia" on the west coast or "Saudis have little experience on that front, and the sudden changes have stoked fears " are just weapons in favour off the Houthis typical of the left NY times.

Comments on fighting ignores the efforts made by the Houthi southwards this year towards Aden that were smash by so called Southern resistance that has operated to defend Aden from the start.

Missiles against KSA are essentially Iranian but hey hang that on the Saudis as well. These missles BTW have been dealt with by US Patriat defence.

And what of the end of the article: "But Yemen’s government, currently based in the southern city of Aden," Not if you want to include the President and VP Ali Mohsen Al Akbar - they are in Saudi Arabia as guests (Hotels).

    Rubbish!
