As usual Yemen politics is as clear as mud but it does seem that there is some light at the end of the tunnel that is not a train coming. Media, UN etc have been upbeat, which is easy to dismiss as cry wolf. The difference now is that appears the Houthis are engaging.
After 5 years of war both sides seem to think a military solution is not possible. How these opposing sides can or will negotiate is anyones guess but the next few weeks might see some sort of credible breakthrough.
