Sorry, Apples, you took that 18% out of context. The analyst who calculated 18% was saying this is what BBI common might get BEFORE DILUTION BY THE NEW INVESTOR. It's a meaningless number. That 18% also seems to assume a 4 to 1 conversion of BEPPA shares to BBI shares, and where did he come up with that number? That lower conversion ratio would require BEPPA approval, and can you count on that?
At the end of all of this I don't see how common shareholders could end up with more than 5% of the company. They could end up with less than 10% just from a BEPPA conversion. The new investor makes that much worse with his dilution.
