    i guess BAM will only buy minority stake in many of the assets, and they will derive the value of whole from that.

    ie they pay $1bil for 50% of DBCT, would value DBCT at $2bil.

    so they wont actually be buying $7bil worth of assets, but we can use the price they pay for part to price the whole.
