    so to me it seems like there is an obvious trend upward with small retraces along the way.

    this has been evident for some time.

    the main thing is that the trend is upward, and small retraces (like today) are expected, and welcomed so it doesnt get too hot too quick. Plus it presents good opportuinties to buy.
