You have to be able to make your own decisions when you have 10 people telling you 10 different things in the middle of a shit storm.

An ability to stick to your own convictions and phase out white noise is essential.

If anything, posters can be used as a barometer of how ridiculous things are getting when they start gloating about their hundreds of percent returns with massive risk-free daily perpetual income.

The only such risk free scenario I've experienced personally was holding Brady Bonds in the 1980's. Though I am sure many other scenarios exist but rest assured, returns did no amount to 10's of percent on a daily basis. That's just nonesense and indicative of a Ponzi scheme.
