Hard to say if any stuff is safe to buy, but Betashares have solid track record. Both BEAR and BBOZ seem to track the inverse of Aussie market closely enough. BBUS doesn't show inverse correlation closely to US market, this likely due to currency hedging. As far as buy/sell they seem liquid enough, they do implement a market maker.
