When looking at past market movements that are most correlated with this correction, the blue line is the average of all of those past events and the orange one is the current event - there is a strong tendency for a short-term low now.
Those "past" events started on 26/11/1952, 29/04/1959, 22/03/1966, 15/04/1977, 19/09/1980, 6/03/2000 and 28/12/2000.
