Another crack appearing, this is a pretty big one (below). Could there be other bank runs in the US? Time will tell.
I have converted my free cash into physical gold, I have operating cash in my bank account with a similar amount in debt (both relatively small) if our banks go belly up, they take my money along with my debt. Doesn't seem possible, but we're in uncharted waters, so doesn't hurt to have things in place in the event of an unexpected surprise.
