Possibly, my plan is to hold the equities, then sell out of BBUS...

    Possibly, my plan is to hold the equities, then sell out of BBUS and pump the balance into the market. I think it's a mistake to be completely short (if you pick the direction you don't need to invest too much) it is a mistake to be too heavily weighted in one area, you still need to invest in unloved stocks that will be around in 10 years time. Combine the cash on the sidelines and the BBUS returns back into high quality stocks when they half and not before, even if they go lower, you'll still see good rewards in the years ahead. Warren Buffet does not use this method, he does not try to time short term movements, he just makes an educated bet on the long term direction (energy is one of them through occidental petroleum). His premise is the market is forever changing and all stocks will eventually die if they do not innovate. Do your own research, and be patient. Lazy & uneducated investors are cannon fodder for the market.
