While these leveraged ETF's do loose value over time through fees, the return is supposed to be 2 - 2.75%.
Saying the Nasdaq is down 14% since December is a bit exaggerated.
Even from the top on Feb 19th it's down 12%, and after today SNAS should be up at least 28.5% (12 x 2.375)
