The timing of Trumps press conference absolutely tore my trade to shreds. Had an overnight position riding on the Dow being smashed.
BBUS would’ve opened up probably 15% or more.
Probably around 20 minutes before the ASX open, Trump announces tax cuts etc to help the economy.
Dow Futures rally, 10 Year Bond Yield jumps, sentiment changes, market expects a slight bull rally.
Managed to get out on a 2% profit but still, what could’ve been.
Would’ve helped claw back the 10K loss i had on this last week.
