    Believe it or not, this is actually incorrect and so is the other poster putting forward the notion that the market caps are the same. The poster getting slammed for saying WEB market cap is different is actually correct....albeit it's clear they don't understand dilution, so they're correct by sheer luck.

    The reason is because the stock in question was trading at $14 at the start of the year. Where people are coming unstuck is they are using Google for a quick quote, rather than doing detailed research. For some reason, Google doesn't display an accurate price of that stock. The CR has distorted its price history, even backwards . However, if you go into tradingview or any other brokerage platform you'll see it's still about 25% below its pre-COVID lows.

    135m shares x $14 = $1.9bn
    339m shares x $4.16 = $1.41bn

    Climbed way too fast though, and I say that as a liquidating holder. But it emphasizes a key point in relation to BBUS, doing your homework and due diligence is necessary rather than relying on the quickest and easiest form of research.
