Volatility decay....in fact, I was reading through here earlier and didn't see any mention of it at all

BBUS and BBOZ have shown about 15% decay I think just across two months....in fact if you look at GGUS it's the same...tracking well behind the actual S&P

All comes down to leverage! Each swing up/down that is repeated diminishes the potency of the ETF....that's why holding them for long periods becomes less and less effective unless you get a string of consecutive days in your favour
